Currently Vicky is costume trainee on Belgravia with designer James Keast which runs until July 2019.
In 2016 Vicky Turner graduated from Arts University Bourmeouth with a Ba (Hons) Degree in Costume and Performance design. Previous to that she spent two years studying Fashion and Clothing at Sussex Coast College.
Since graduating Vicky has gained much experience in the proffessional work enviroment. She completed an internship with the designer Omer Assim at his studios in St Pauls. The internship involved the sourcing of fabric and preparation of patterns for his 2017 collection. She then went on to take freelance work cutting and sewing costumes for 'Rewild Concert' and caberet act 'Oh My God! It's The Church'.
In 2017 Vicky moved to London where she has been based since. Whilst in the city she has interned at Angel's costumes, freelanced on commercials for Adidas and Thatchers, dressed for The Royal Palaces, had a work placement at The Royal Opera House and at Wendy Benstead's studios as well as assisting costume maker Claire Ashley.
She has a full clean drivers liscense and owns her own car.
Vicky is constantly looking to improve on her knowledge and learn new skills within costume. She is happy to dress, assist, cut, sew, design, research and supervise within a costume department.
