I currently work at Bournemouth University where I manage the core social media accounts and profiles, liaising with relevant colleagues across the University to plan and develop new content. I also provide advice, guidance and training for staff across the University, ensuring the effective use of social media as a platform for listening and talking to different stakeholder groups.
A key part of my role is to maintain an understanding of external trends and to provide expert advice on social media and digital marketing for student recruitment, campaign planning and development. I also prepare and present regular reports on the use, effectiveness and impact of social media channels in marketing and communication campaigns.
