About
My interest in audio came from my music background. Learning guitar from the age of 12, I have developed my skill to a high standard with experience performing on stage, in recording studios and teaching.
After leaving school I decided to study music and music techonology which then progressed to studying and undergraduate degree in Music Technology and Audio Systems Design at the University of Derby.
I have built up a decent amount of equipment to cover, location sound recording for film, audio post production for film, music production and recording and I have the know-how to operate my equipment proficiently.
I've always had an interest in wildlife and with the increasing interest in audio I started building equipment which allowed me to be more mobile to record the audio of animals which in turn has doubled up for film audio recording and editing.
Also a member of the Audio Engineering Society and the Wildlife Sound Recording Society.
