About
Christiana Ebohon-Green
Director/Writer
I am an award-winning drama director and have been selected for the BAFTA Elevate 2017 scheme. I am a former mentee on Women in Film & Television's 2015 mentoring scheme and graduated from the National Film & Television School, where I studied Fiction Direction.
I have directed episodes of Outlander, Vera, Grantchester, The Mallorca Files, Call the Midwife and Father Brown this summer. Over the last fifteen years I have directed many hours of drama series on British network television, including - Holby City, Doctors, EastEnders, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale. I have also made a number of award-winning short films - Kodak Award USA, 2nd place: Kodak Eastman Commercial Competition and Lloyds Bank Challenge Four Film Challenge. Having built up such a strong body of experience, I am now focused on moving on to more challenging drama, as well as feature films.
In March 2017, I directed a short stage play called, Very Special Murders for Free Rayne Artists' 'Spiral'.
I directed a Film London Calling Plus short called, Support. I received funding from Creative England and the BFI to direct a short film, Some Sweet Oblivious Antidote starring amongst others, Sir Lenny Henry, Wunmi Mosaku, Colin Salmon, and Fatima Koroma. This Emerging Talent scheme will develop me towards my first feature film. Both shorts have screened at numerous film festivals and Some Sweet Oblivious Antidote was long listed for the 2018 BAFTA Awards.
I was selected for a place on Directors UK's high end mentoring pilot scheme. I shadowed a director on a Kudos/Sky production, The Tunnel 2: Debris and directed some of their 2nd unit sequences.
I have written two screenplays, one of which SHEBA was developed with BABYLON 2015 - to further stories from diverse backgrounds. My first screenplay is called Phoenix.
