I am an experienced Producer with a background in both documentary and factual entertainment. I am a versatile worker and have enjoyed positions as both a Shooting, Location as well as Casting.

My skills lie in being a organised and creative thinker and working well in a team dynamic. I have strong people and communication skills, and can build and maintain relationships with contributors from all walks of life often engaging in sensitive topics. Working under tight deadlines is also something I feel comfortable with and I pride myself on my resilience and ability to think on my feet and work in a calm manner.

1. Producer

   • Returning to this series as it has moved to Nottingham, I joined in pre-production to consent as many staff as possible and iron out any consent issues prior to the rig. During filming I was producing on the hospital floor. This required a strong understanding of character, duty of care and how to manage highly sensitive situations including people under the influence, highly emotional, and in a lot of pain. • After the rig I moved to Liaison Producer which involved digging for the deeper stories within patients and families lives, considering and flagging any welfare or duty of care considerations, as well as setting up and conducting patient interviews.

2. Senior Assistant Producer

   Lion Television Scotland · Apr 2022 - Dec 2022

   • A new Channel 4 commission, I was brought on from pre-production to set up the casting systems and begin consent talks with the hospital staff and negotiate trickier accesses within the hospital. • Working on location and into the edit, I was supporting the PDs with story producing, casting, compliance and consent. I also independently filmed clinics and appointments during busy filming periods, as well as maintaining access and relationships with families coming through the service.

3. Assistant Producer

   Double Act TV · Oct 2021 - Apr 2022

   A new ITV commission following the work of custody staff in Grimsby Police custody suite. I was working in a small team, both on location throughout the shoot and assisting in the edit. My focus was managing story, interviewing detainees, completing through story notes to assist in the edit. During the edit I was supporting the editors with footage and story enquiries, sourcing and managing large quantities of CCTV archive, factchecking stories and following up on the contributor court outcomes.

4. Assistant Producer

   Filming on location in Coventry Hospital after the second wave of COVID 19 hit the UK. Working across many hospital departments, with a focus on Maternity, Neonatal and Fetal Well Being. Following high risk pregnancies and the work of the hospital to get these pregnancies to term. • This position required a great deal of understanding of compliance and duty of care when working in such sensitive environments.

5. Casting Assistant Producer

   South Shore TV · May 2021 - Jul 2021

   A new BBC commission follow Freddie Flintoffs journey back to his hometown to engage young people in cricket. • Casting in a small team with SP and Researcher. Working across all aspects of casting. Conducting targeted outreach and building relationships with youth organisations and community groups to access and cast at risks teenagers and their families.

   • An engrail part of my role was ensuring streamline communication between floor and gallery teams and being the port of call for any consent issues. Assisting my PD in determining priority stories alongside logging consents, editorial beats and possible contributor/welfare issues.
