Isabelle Kroese looks to context and medium to develop responses to a variety of issues. Openminded in methods, her work tends to be finalised in a broad range of media; looking from print to performative outcomes, and all in between. Influences come from all walks of life - graffiti on the street, lines in novels and, most importantly, inane conversation with others can be as inspiring as the work of practicing artists.
Also interested in publication work, she has produced, self-funded and printed two zines featuring work from young female artists from Northern England, which lead to a launch night and exhibition at The NewBridge Project in Newcastle.
Isabelle Kroese is currently studying Fine Art BA at Goldsmiths, University of London.
