Hello! Welcome to my profile.

My name is Ellie Hoccom and I am a fully qualified freelance Hair and Makeup Artist.

My work currently spans across Film and TV, Music Videos, Fashion, Theatre and Vintage Hair and Makeup.

I have a First Class BA (Hons) Specialist Hair and Media Makeup degree, in which I specialised in Hair, Makeup and SFX for Film and TV within my final year. Knowlege gained and skills built here have proved invaluable as my career has progressed and aided me in working successfully and confidently as a makeup deisgner on a couple of short films recently which I absolutely loved being a part of, through each and every stage of production.

You can probably tell from my images of work that I adore period hair and makeup, I have worked on many period theatrical productions and created a large body of my own photographic work. I would jump at the opportunity to use my period hair and makeup skills within film/tv production. 

I also have a pretty good all round understanding of many elements of production life from studying Performing Arts Design at college, I gained insight into production, costume, set, lighting, props and other elements within this course and when working on a set I feel confident working along side and liasing with other departments.

Highlights in my career so far include working for BBC Films, BBC Studios, Mad Cow Productions and WSTR the band.

I love my work, and I love to meet new people and extend my network within Film and TV.
