About

I am extremeley passionate about leading a successful career in this industry. My main interests involve many of the skills that are required to progress with this line of work. My skills include creativity, determination to succeed, ability to work well independently and within a team, along with initiative and good listening skills. In my free time I really enjoy sketching and drawing, I'm interested in many different types of art and can appriciate the importance it has in everything. I previously worked in a primary school, and was in charge of setting up art activities for the children, ensuring it was something different each time in order to allow them the opportunity to experiment with different styles etc.. I was also in charge of creating displays in the after school club, which showed off the childrens art work. A different job role that really helped me become more confident is working at Costa, due to serving customers all day I improved my confidence and ability to talk with people from all different backgrounds and walks of life which was really enjoyable. During busy times I had to learn to work in a very pressured environment, which taught me the importance of communication within a team so that the job gets done well. I I have experience working on two BBC dramas called Three Girls and Poldark Series 3, which really helped me improve my ability to work alongside various different people, and in many different departments. My roles on Three Girls  involved keeping the prop store tidy, dressing the sets and helping to buy the props that were required. Whilst working on Poldark Series 3 it mainly involved duties concerning the importance of keeping the prop store tidy and making sure everything was correct for the correct time period of the drama, keeping the sets clean and resetting the fabric roles. I have been trying to actively contact many different production companies but it is very difficult to get a response, due to the demands of the industry.
