Philippa is a New Zealand-born producer whose experience lies in developing and producing new contexts for art and public engagement. After graduating with a film degree from the University of Auckland, Philippa worked as programme co-ordinator for Auckland-based new writing company Silo Theatre, where she produced and assisted in programming annual seasons. In 2013, Philippa moved to the UK to work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society and since has worked in programming and producing teams for National Theatre, Southbank Centre, tiata fahodzi. Independently, she has produced work and new commissions for festivals such as Punk London, Cut Festival alongside of freelance collaborations.
Currently, her interdisciplinary interests have led to her involvement in Convergence Festival and PIGDOG theatre. She is an active campaigner, working at 38 Degrees engaging millions of members across the UK to take meaningful action in political conversations, especially in the case of Brexit and protecting local and national parks.
