I'm a creative, digital all-rounder; with experience in broadcast journalism to online content management and graphic design.
I am a BJTC accredited Qualified Broadcast Journalist- I completed my training in Radio Journalism with the Bauer Media Academy at the National School of Broadcasting, based at Radio City in Liverpool.
Experiences include covering the Stockport general elections, for Key 103fm. It was an amazing (and long) night, completely unpredictable, the atmosphere was amazing which was what I enjoyed covering the most.
I was assisting senior broadcast journalists and covering local stories in Lancashire for Rock FM, including the diet pill, Rise in homelessness and more. I enjoyed working on local issues, talking to local people in the community about issues close to them.
I also participated in a BBC5 Live election show giving a Scottish perspective in which I discussed pre-election strategies, events, news which was aired post-election.

Branding – Creating a visual identity for businesses that clients can be confident working from is the essential aim as well as catering to individual business needs, getting to know the business and what it stands for is essential.
Marketing & PR – I have created business plans and marketing strategies for enterprises and organisations, whether it’s for funding purposes or marketing products, services and events.
CMS websites – Magento, Umbraco, Drupal, WordPress are just a few of the platforms I have used.
Google Analytics – I find this a very useful tool for business websites – I have used this for many websites where I can then create reports as to how much traffic is flowing and from what area and frequency.
HTML/CSS – I have an understanding of Html and I use it quite often when editing websites.
Social Media Marketing – I have on numerous occasions worked for companies who wanted to combine graphics for ongoing campaigns and promote them through their social media platforms.
SEO- I have a good understanding of Search Engine Optimization and how to help boost the websites own hits due to enhancing content.
