I'm Kaya, and I am currently a student at Belfast Metropolitan College studying English Literature and Politics. I previously studied Drama & Theatre Studies, and Religous Education. I Hope to continue on to study Drama & Creatvie Writing at University.
I am a passionate and eager to learn about Acting, be it in the Theatre or a TV/Film Production. I have written a play for my A2 Drama & Theatre Studies A-Level, and helped to devise it; designing a set and costumes for the performance, and with my peers developed our onstage performance. I have previously taken part in making a short film for Cinemagic, in which I received an award at Belfast City Hall. I also previously taught drama to children aged 4-11, during my time here I helped to choreograph and produce three shows. Moreover, I took part in BBC School News Report for my Digital Media. This inspired friends and I to make a short film which set out to make people are of the different types of bullying, and what to do if youre being bullied/see someone else being bullied, which was then submitted for my coursework. Before this, when i was 12, I was in a performance for Talent Tribe, which took place in Belfast City Hall, which looked at issues that teens face today.
