About
I am a Senior Lecturer at Solent University and Course Leader of the BA (Hons) Film and MA Film Production courses where I am also Editor-in-Chief of Diegesis: the undergraduate magazine of film and television criticism. In 2020 I was awarded an Advance HE National Teaching Fellowship.
I am co-director of the Screening Sex project (www.screeningsex.com) and co-editor of the Screening Sex/Edinburgh University Press book series. My research specialisms include screen performance and the politics of identity and I have published numerous books, chapters and articles in this area.
