Jack is a graduate of Oxford University and LAMDA, and is currently Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse. This year, he has assisted Blanche McIntyre on Welcome Home, Captain Fox!, Josie Rourke on Elegy and Lyndsey Turner on Faith Healer. He is currently assisting Kwame Kwei-Armah on One Night In Miami... and following that will return to Josie Rourke on Saint Joan. He also translated Les Liaisons Dangereuses for the Donmar/Audible.co.uk, narrated by Dominic West, Janet McTeer, Una Stubbs, Elaine Cassidy, Adjoa Andoh, Edward Holcroft and Morfydd Clark.

Recently, he directed Jeremy Irvine, Richard Madden, Tom Rhys Harries and Joshua McCord in a semi-staged reading of the award winning Jake Brunger’s Four Play for the Old Vic New Voices Festival. His most recent full production is the Offie-nominated five-week run of the Pulitzer-winning How I Learned To Drive for the Southwark Playhouse starring Olivia Poulet (The Thick of It, Sherlock) and William Ellis (Great Expectations, Queen of the Desert). The show received ten four star reviews, including the Evening Standard (“well-judged”, “superb”), The Sunday Times (“superb”, “nuanced”, “absorbing”), What’sOnStage, The Public Reviews and Time Out (“astonishing”), for which it was also the Critic’s Choice. Jack’s other credits as director include Cymbeline (Tabard Theatre), Angels in America (Oxford Playhouse) and Machinal (Oxford Castle, C Venues Edinburgh, Arcola Theatre). He recently assistant directed Jonah & Otto at the Park Theatre, and assisted a production of Present Laughter at the Gate Theatre in Dublin.

As a producer, his credits include Four Play (Theatre503), Robbie Wakes (Big Belly, Underbelly, Edinburgh Festival), Mr Kolpert (C Venues, Edinburgh Festival) and Fascinating Aida: Cheap Flights! (Gilded Balloon, Edinburgh Festival - assistant producer). He has worked for the BBC, Film4, the Young President's Organisation, as President of the O'Reilly Theatre in Oxford from 2011-2013 (where he directed ten shows), and as a casting director for DEM Productions (Sense of An Ending, Theatre 503). 

He is also a theatre photographer. His pictures have been featured in all national newspapers, What'sOnStage, Official London Theatre, and he has photographed for Kate Morley PR, Trafalgar Studios, Arcola, the Bloomsbury, Reading Rep, the Oxford Playhouse, the Vaults, the Park Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, ATG and numerous other theatres and organisations. He is the in-house photographer at Theatre503.
