Naomi Ayres started Square Cherry Productions, a Manchester based collective, 2 years ago, with a backing of vast experience in film, documentary and commercial production experience.

The idea behind Square Cherry is to create a collaborative of freelancers who want to make lovely, local content. With little to no overhead costs, working with freelancers means total flexibility to any job requirements.

Square Cherry is striving to work on Manchester content and facilitating jobs to keep the city busy and bustling,  but also as a way of financing future creative work in the city. They facilitated for LA company Antidote last year, and with that job they launched a giving back initiative of setting aside 20% of all profits for reinvestment in future Manchester creative schemes.
