Daisy Young

Theatre Designer

  • Location: London
  • Freelancer: Available

Daisy Young is a freelance Theatre Designer who, after graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 2014 with a first class honours degree in Theatre Design, has been working both independently on her own design work and assisting prolific designer Joanna Scotcher.

Committed to the union of creativity and precision she develops her work in keen detail, specialising in use of CAD to aid design, refine detail and achieve full realisation of an idea. Believing that collaboration is key, Daisy Young enjoys working as part of a creative team, learning from others, to create a work that all involved find fresh, exciting and innovating.

She completed her dissertation on Immersive Theatre and has a deep interest in pushing the boundaries of what theatre is, how audiences can be reached, moved and ultimately challenged by a piece of work.
