I am currently in my final year of Grammar School studying Health and Social Care, Religious Studies and Drama.
I'm planning on doing a foundation in Performing Arts next year as well as auditioning and taking part in productions in and around Northern Ireland.
I have acted and taken part in various musical and theatrical productions such as 'The Wizard of Oz', 'Grease', 'Blackout', 'Lysistrata' and 'Blood Brothers'. Recently I have been able to be behind the camera taking part in other pupils Moving Image Art Films as their final A2 piece. As well as this I have also had the opportunity to help choreograph and direct performances along side teachers in my school such as 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe', 'Aladdin' and 'Bugsy Malone'. This has allowed me to develop my own understanding of theatre as well as opening my eyes to what goes on behind the scenes rather than what takes place on stage.
Throughout my time at school I have had the opportunity to write and direct devised pieces which I have been assessed on; I was able to develop team work skills and how to use constructive criticism to my advantage helping me create a stronger and more dramatic piece of work.
