Hi - I’m Katie, a writer with my fingers in a lot of arts-related pies: poet / playwright / lyricist / blogger / arts administrator / workshop leader / project manager / reviewer / occasional leader of a guerrilla poetry mission.

I've been published in Poetry Review, The Frogmore Papers, Interpreter’s House and Cadaverine, among others. In 2015, I co-wrote a musical, Yesterday, with composer Stephen Hyde, which had its first run at the Burton Taylor Studio in Oxford. I've also produced and co-curated Beneath The Boughs, an installation of contemporary poetry at Lowther Castle, and was a Barbican Young Poet 2011-12 and Young Poet in Residence at Theatre by the Lake (2013). I completed my MLitt in Creative Writing (Poetry) at St Andrews in 2013, and am currently working on a poetry pamphlet and a piece of theatre.

I run poetry workshops in schools on a freelance basis.
