Daniel Saleeb (b.1985) is an emerging composer of wide-reaching and eclectic work, for the church, the concert platform, schools, film and theatre.
Recent commissions have included: As de cantar for the BBC Singers, performed live on BBC Radio 3 in January 2015; Deus, qui hodierna for the Chapel Choir of Merton College, Oxford, sponsored by Choir & Organ Magazine; Chaconne for the Workers Union Ensemble, performed as part of NONCLASSICAL and at LSO St. Luke's; and his two organ pieces Toccata and Fantasia on 'Erhalt uns, Herr, bei deinem Wort', which received performances at venues including St. John's Smith Square, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral.
Recent film work includes the soundtrack to Alpha : Omega, recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
In 2015, Daniel took up the position of Composer in Residence at Sheffield Music Academy, with performances at Sheffield's Music in the Round Festival.
