So...I am an actress, a writer and a workshop facilitator (SPATS, LAMDA).
I trained at The School of the Arts, University of Northampton where I received a first class degree in Acting in 2012. This September I will be completing my one year MA at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in Advanced Theatre Practice.
As an actor, I have been lucky to have worked with some incredible companies and individuals in the arts and in some great venues such as Battersea Arts Centre, Hampstead Theatre and Warwick Arts Centre over the last four years.
Between completing my BA and embarking on my MA, I was lucky to act in a number of my own written and/or devised pieces. In 2013, I co-wrote and toured A Womb with a View with a company I co-founded, Pinkanoe Theatre to various festivals and we were shortlisted for the NSDF Pleasance Award in Edinburgh. I also performed in a number of scratches of my one woman show, I Could Be Wonderful, created with Battersea Arts Centre when I was on the Emerging Artists programme in 2014 and took it on to venues such as the Brockley Jack and the Southbank Centre.
I am currently touring an autobiographical piece, 3 Years, 1 Week and a Lemon Drizzle which I perform with my younger sister, to various festivals and venues across the UK, where we have been lucky enough to be programmed.
