Dan Colley is a Creative Producer, Director, Dramaturg and Workshop Facilitator based in Dublin. He is Co-Artistic Director of Collapsing Horse, a company dedicated to producing entertaining, audience-focused, philosophically provocative work that merges artistic disciplines.
As a dramaturg his work mainly focusses devised, collaborative writing, documentary work and dance. As a facilitator, Dan trained with the National Association of Youth Drama and has worked with organisations as diverse as; the Abbey Theatre, Los Angeles LGBT Center Homelss Youth Project, the Gaiety School of Acting and Macra na Feirme.
Dan produced the Dublin Fringe Festival’s TWENTY FIRST project – a year-long celebration/upending of the festival for its twenty first birthday, undertaken by a group of self-selecting twenty-one year olds.
Dan is a member of the Project Arts Centre, a resident in FRINGE LAB, a recipient of the ART 2016 Next Generation Bursary from the Arts Council, and has BA in English and Philosophy from NUI Galway.
