Playwright and Creative Writing Teacher

I fell in love with theatre after seeing 'On The Shore Of The Wide World' at the Royal Exchange in 2005 and have been on a theatre binge ever since.  I like to think I'm an aspiring playwright and theatre creative.  I co-run two independent theatre companies: New Attitude and DogCatTrumpet.  I have recently completed the Masters Degree in Playwriting (Salford University) and I teach introductory and advanced playwriting courses locally.

My work includes: 'Safe Hands', 'Onions Cry Too' (Lowry Studio, Salford), 'Fly By Night' (Kings Arms, Salford), 'The Lives and Loves of Vera Dymond' (24:7 Theatre Festival 2014).

When I'm not planning and writing, I'm usually walking up a hill with my little dog, Darwin, or looking after my amazing mother who gave me the freedom to go after my dreams.
