Young Actors Theatre Islington (YATI) is a vibrant and friendly community theatre in Islington that attracts young people from all over London. We offer drama, singing and dance classes from age 4 upwards and the opportunity to take part in regular performances. We have an in house agency, YAT Management, and represent young people from ages 4 – 25+, many of whom are working regularly in film, theatre and TV.
There is no audition process to join a YATI class (excepting professional classes) and a warm welcome is extended to all regardless of previous experience.
Classes are about learning performance skills, having fun, improving confidence and communication, nurturing creativity and talent and making new friends!
Here at YATI we are passionate about the power of drama to enrich our lives and make us the best we can be, whether that’s about pursuing a career in the performing arts or just coming along to have some creative fun.
