About
I am a visual storyteller and documentary artist of Latvian origin, living on a canal boat in London. Since graduating from BA Photographic Arts at the University of Westminster in 2012, I have been working as a freelance photographer, journalist, curator and tutor.
I divide my time between a number of creative project and commissions that cover a broad range of my interests in socio-political issues, education, science and art. I bring a variety of skills to the table, working in the fields of photography, videography, graphic design and researcher, often dipping my toe into event production and social media marketing.
Fluent in English, Russian and Latvian and currently learning French, I work as a translator, researcher and language tutor.
I am an artistic co-director of visual marketing agency NO WORDS and founder and curator of Everyday Eastern Europe.
