Writer. Freelance journalist. Editor.

My journalism, on topics from vaginas to Eastenders and body modification, has appeared in the Guardian, the Independent, the Telegraph, Vice and Western Daily Press. I often write about culture and feminism, but some of my biggest passions are travel and music. I have also blogged and written for various online publications, this includes as a writer/assistant editor for online arts magazine Don't Panic and literary magazine Litro.

My creative work is usually in the form of short stories, creative nonfiction and essays. My work has been featured in various collections, most recently in Mount London: Ascents in the Vertical City (available now in Waterstones).

I learnt how to work under *serious* pressure during a six month stretch freelancing as a sub at the Guardian on the news and Comment is Free desks. I also have experience in social media, digital marketing, Wordpress development/web design, layout design, SEO and proofreading.

I hold a BA in creative writing and an MA in travel and nature writing.

Interested in writing and digital projects.
