Candice is a British Nigerian Writer, Producer and filmmaker. Her debut film HUSH was the winner of the best short film award at the British Urban film festival 2017 and the best screenplay prize at academy award qualifying Reel Sisters film festival 2017.   She was also nominated for a best producer award at Underwire Film Festival 2017 and the film was acquired for distribution by Little Dot Studio's online channel Tall Tales.

Her most recent film  ONCE AN OLD LADY SAT ON MY CHEST was one of the winners of the Encounters Film Festival and BFI backed 'Widening the Lens' pitch 2016. The film was successfully crowdfunded on Crowdfunder UK and is nominated for Film Africa 2018 Baboab Shorts prize.

Candice is an alumni of the New Orleans Writers residency and the founder of Genesis Child Films, a production company focused on diverse stories by and about women from the African diaspora. She is currently in development for her third short Born Again and her debut feature film.
