Award-winning TV show Outlander is recruiting for the next phase of its training programme. Up to 18 trainees, across various departments, will be selected to train on Season 5 from March 2019. As a trainee on Outlander, you would be learning from some of the finest technicians working in the film and television industry. The experience of training within in a real filming environment will create a strong platform for our trainees to embark on successful careers within this industry.
All trainees will attend an induction course at the start of their placement as well as a shadowing scheme where trainees will gain experience from other departments. You will have a training plan and there will also be regular meetings with supervisors to monitor your trainee development.
Trainees will be paid salaries between £386 and £545 per week for between 42.5 and 60 hours per week, depending on role.
The Outlander Training Programme supports diversity and encourages applications from across all sections of the community. No formal qualifications are required, however applicants must be:
- Normally living in Scotland (The production base is Cumbernauld)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Over 18 years old (23 for some roles)
- Have a basic understanding of the film and television industry, preferably with relevant work experience
- Practically minded
- Some roles require a clean driving licence
