Register your interest now for ScreenSkills’ free half-day conference, Diversity in Action, designed to provide practical information and hands-on workshops to improve diversity and inclusion in television and film. The event will take place on the afternoon of Monday 11 March, from 1pm to 5.30pm in central London.
The full conference programme will be announced later this month, but we aim to include training on unconscious bias and practical advice on recruiting disabled talent and developing leadership skills, including training in identifying and tackling bullying and harassment. There will also be panel sessions explaining how to help parents and carers return to the workplace, including job-sharing, as well as a film producer’s guide to meeting the BFI’s diversity standards.
How to apply
As this is a critical issue for everyone working in the screen industries, we expect demand for places to be high. If you are a screen professional or training provider who would like to attend, please apply by Wednesday 23 January. Full details will be supplied to successful applicants shortly.
To apply, simply click the 'Apply' button at the top of the page. You must be logged in to a ScreenSkills account for this to show - if you don't have an account then register here, and return to this page.
To make sure no places go to waste, we will hold a waiting list to re-assign any places that become vacant.
