Congratulations to Film Skills Fund contributors 1917 and Judy for their wins at the 92nd annual Academy Awards.
Renée Zellweger picked up the actress in a leading role award for her performance in Judy. Sam Mendes’ First World War drama 1917 picked up three awards for cinematography, sound mixing and visual effects.
Oscars were presented to:
- Judy: Best actress (Renée Zellweger)
- 1917: Cinematography (Roger Deakins)
- 1917: Sound mixing (Mark Taylor and Stuart Wilson)
- 1917: Visual effects (Guillaume Rocheron, Greg Butler and Dominic Tuohy)
