The ScreenSkills Animation Skills Fund is delighted to be helping support women in the UK’s VFX and animation industries through the Animated Women UK Achieve Programme for 2020.

The programme, first run by AWUK – the organisation supporting women in VFX and animation - in 2017, focuses on supporting women at all stages of their career to achieve their potential. It offers 24 of their members (12 women from each sector) the opportunity to take part.

Funded by the ScreenSkills Animation Skills Fund with contributions from UK animation productions and with additional support from Escape Studios, the Achieve Programme focuses on targeted career development for women in the industry by addressing the real challenges and barriers women face on a day-to-day basis and providing strategic career management.

Coach, facilitator and trainer Jan Armstrong, who specialises in women’s leadership development and helping individuals achieve their full potential, will run the programme, along with executive coach Marianne O’Connor. It will take place over six sessions in central London.

Applications for the course are open until Monday 2 March. More information can be found here.
