Skills Fund contributors win at Scottish BAFTAs

ScreenSkills supporters have won at this years’ British Academy Scotland Awards.

Guilt picked up two awards during the 2020 online ceremony, having been nominated six times. It received the best director – fiction award and beat Elizabeth Is Missing in the race for the best television – scripted award.

Elizabeth Is Missing received honours in the best actress category, Sex Education went home with the award for best actor and a public vote declared Outlander as the winner of the audience award.

We want to congratulate them, as well as nominees The Nest and Deadwater Fell, and thank them for their contributions to the High-end Skills Fund which supports training in the industry.

Congratulations and a thank you also to Film Skills Fund contributor Sorry We Missed You for winning the writer film/television award and to TV Skills Fund contributor BBC for winning two awards with Murder Trial: the disappearance of Margaret Fleming.
