Production Coordinator Programme comes to the South West

Applications are now being accepted for the popular Production Co-ordinator Training Programme from Creative Skillset and the BBC Academy taking place in Cardiff in February 2018.

Designed to inspire and train the next generation for a career in Production Management, the programme is open to those starting out on their career in TV production.  No previous TV experience is required for the Cardiff programme.

The training within the programme covers areas such as budgeting and negotiating, rights, paperwork, reporting, setting up filming and setting up a studio. Workshops and masterclasses are taught by the best in the industry, with training provided by the BBC Academy, Creative Skillset, TRC Media, the Indie Training Fund, ITV Studios, the PMA and the Unit List. Successful participants will finish with an industry-recognised Creative Skillset accreditation and receive a year of mentoring to help them establish their TV career.

The cost to participants (or their employers) is £150, with fee waivers available. This programme is supported by the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5 via the TV Skills Fund, managed by Creative Skillset. 

Recruitment for the Production Co-ordinator Training Programme

The programme is taking place across the UK. We have already run two courses in London, one in Salford, and one in Glasgow. The next programme will be in Cardiff, with training taking place over two weeks from Monday 12 February 2018.

Applications for the February programme in Cardiff are now open and close at noon on Monday 8 January 2018. Interviews will take place during January.
