Indie Training Fund (ITF), the industry-led training provider for high-quality hands-on TV and film training, is now a part of ScreenSkills (previously known as Creative Skillset).

ScreenSkills is the UK skills body for UK screen, investing in the skills behind the success of the British film, TV, VFX, animation and games industries.

The partnership joins two organisations who are equally committed to leading on skills and talent development in the television and film industry.

ITF members will still be able to receive the same exclusive benefits such as bespoke training and expert consultancy for all their learning and development needs, now backed up by the ongoing wider industry research and skills forecasting being delivered by ScreenSkills.

Nick Catliff, the joint managing director of Lion TV and chair of the ITF board, described the alliance as “great news for small and big indies, and for those working across TV and film.

“The combined strength of the two organisations will help focus industry investment even more effectively on responding to challenging skills needs.”
