HETV Skills Fund contributors nominated for Emmys

A string of high-end television productions that have contributed to the HETV Skills Fund have been nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards.

We are delighted that so many of the productions that contributed to the High-end TV Skills Fund - which invests in training for the industry – are in the running for honours at the 2019 edition of the Primetime Emmy Awards.

With 32 nominations in 23 categories, Game of Thrones will be the leading contender at the 71st edition of the award show. It will go head-to-head with Killing Eve and Bodyguard in the drama series and writing for drama series award categories. Among the other nominations the series has received are make-up, special visual effects and fantasy/sci-fi costumes.

Chernobyl is in the running for 18 Emmys, including ones for cinematography, outstanding directing and outstanding hairstyling for a limited series or movie. With 11 nominations, Fleabag will also be well-represented at the ceremony that will be held in Los Angeles on 22 September.
