Want to find out about starting a behind-the-camera (i.e. technical, craft, or production jobs - not acting or performing) career the screen industry?

Open Doors aims to give you insight into what jobs are out there and help you build connections with industry professionals. You’ll get the opportunity to:

  • meet people from the local screen industry
  • hear their stories and get practical advice for getting started in the industry
  • network with industry professionals and creative peers

Come along to the last Open Doors event of the year at the Rich Mix. You will hear from industry experts about jobs in the screen industry behind the camera. Meet speakers in round-table groups of 10 or fewer and take part in an open networking session.

Chat to the ScreenSkills team about Trainee Finder, a scheme that places new talent on paid traineeships with UK films and TV shows like Wonder Woman, Game of Thrones and Peaky Blinders, and get inside advice that may help with your application.
