With the film sector in hibernation, many film freelancers are unsure what other work they could do, and how they are going to make ends meet. First aid for film freelancers is a series of four standalone workshops that are designed to provide information and practical advice from screen sector and business experts.

In this final workshop delivered by Mission Accomplished, we are focussing on winning new clients. It will cover:

Part 1: Valuing myself

  • How do I value myself?
  • What is my rate?
  • Overpricing and underpricing

Part 2: Growing your network

  • Nurturing and leveraging my network
  • Writing winning emails
  • Getting meetings
  • Pitching yourself

The goal of the session is to provide participants with the tools and the confidence to grow their networks and win new clients ready for when the industry opens up again.
