A guide to making a start on a CV for screen
The screen industries can be quite informal and you need a good CV to send out to prospective employers who might invite you for a chat or give you some work. But what are those employers looking for? What do you include, what do you leave out and who is likely to read your CV?
This session will help you to start a CV and give you information about what kind of information and layout is more likely to make screen employers want to meet you. Whether you’re in education, just leaving, or starting out in a job this session will help you to start work on writing your CV.
The session will take place online via Zoom. If you haven’t used Zoom before, please download it to your device (ideally on a laptop) in advance of the session. You can download it for free.
We will start promptly at 11am so we recommend that you sign in at 10.50am so you can test your equipment and we can admit you into the session on time.
Click ‘get ticket’ to reserve your place: you must login or create an account on the ScreenSkills website before you are able to get a ticket for this event. A booking confirmation with a joining link to the session will be sent to you via email.
