"I have been in the industry 22 years and started my career at Yorkshire Television for ITV where I started as a production electrician. I worked on a variety of genres including Live TV ,Light Entertainment, Children’s, News, Soaps and many High End Dramas. During this time I have worked on various media from tape, film to digital formats. Over the years I have worked up through the lighting department to become a Gaffer. Since becoming a gaffer I have had an close insight into the DOP role and over the past few years I have started to pursue this role along side my role as a gaffer. I have stepped up to dop recently on 2nd units and covered main units for Amazon, BBC and ITV shows. I am hoping this will eventually give me the opportunity to take a full-time role on a project as Dop in the future."
