Scotland VFX, Games and Animation Employability event for Abertay University and Edinburgh Napier University
Are you a final year university student hoping to work in the Games industry after graduating?
This event gives you a unique opportunity to speak with industry professionals and talent managers about roles in Games and how to kickstart your career.
You’ll hear from the likes of Sumo, Playground Games, Sony, Coatsink, Aardvark Swift and more at this event which encompasses both an industry panel session and a talent manager led breakout session. The industry panel will give you the opportunity to hear from industry professionals who will share their insight and practical tips on how to get a job, entry level roles within their organisations and what they are looking for when recruiting.
The talent managers and HR professionals breakout session will give you the opportunity to speak to both panelists and HR professionals in small groups to discuss career options. You’ll be rotated through the break-out rooms, so you get the opportunity to speak to at least three industry professionals

This event is part of a series of employability training sessions for Select endorsed courses. It is useful to have completed the Employability toolkit before attending this event
The session will take place online via Zoom. Please ensure you download the Zoom app onto your device in advance of the session. The download is free.
We start at 4pm and recommend that you sign into the session ten minutes beforehand, 3.50pm, so you can test your equipment and we can admit you into the session on time.
