Return to work: Professional development workshops with Sam Jukes-Adams
This week long course of five x one-hour group sessions will enable you to develop your own authentic professional approach towards dealing with anxiety in the workplace, negotiation, feedback and contract endings.
Sessions will play out as follows:
Coming together - a look the week ahead and a discussion on the individual needs of the group.
Covid and confidence: working in an arena that feels known but uncertain, dealing with and working through feelings of anxiety permeating the workplace
Negotiation: empathy vs conflict
Giving feedback: integrating this practice into your management of others, requesting on your own behalf and also using it as a tool to help develop others based on your knowledge and expertise
Endings: how to end positively and stay connected in these remote times.

There will be other workshops in the coming weeks, so there will be further opportunities to apply.
Please note this is not a course designed for those at entry level. This course is applicable for leadership and management, so grade production coordinator or assistant producer level up to executive producer.
As there are only a limited number of places, tickets will be allocated via a ballot system to give all those interested a fair chance to secure a place. Please be sure you can commit to attending the full programme before you apply:

Applications will close at noon on the Friday before the first weekly session with notifications to successful applicants being made before the weekend.
Sam Jukes-Adams is an executive coach, who helps people define their professional purpose and practice and how to have an effective engaging and meaningful work experience. As a previous head of production in both drama and factual (corporate level and indie) Sam has a contextual understanding and experience of the TV industry, and specifically the production management area.
