A brand new session from the team behind "PD Bootcamp".
Experienced factual TV programme-makers, Jo and Sarah, want to hear your shoot worries and woes, to help you find a cure.
They'll also outline some common filming mistakes and provide solutions for how to get better rushes.

So, if you've got something you'd like to share or get help with, or if you'd like to polish your shooting skills, or simply check you're on the right lines, do come and join us for this hour-long session.

Who it's for

The course is aimed for PDs of all levels, and keen APs wanting to step up.

What it covers

The role of a PD involves wearing many hats simultaneously, especially if you're a shooter as well. We're keen to help with anything that's getting in the way of feeling more confident about this role.

This course is reactive, so we'll respond to all the queries we can - these can be anything from editorial, compliance, shoot prep challenges, contributor and crew management, or even camera tech.

The rushes clinic part of the session is based on footage we've found or created.
It's a safe space to visually demonstrate what doesn't work in the edit and we encourage everyone to share their opinions on what could be done better, or differently.
