ScreenSkills, the industry-led skills body for the UK’s screen industries, is offering an amazing opportunity to UK armed forces veterans* with logistical and reconnaissance abilities. This programme, in association with The National Film and Television School and Services to Film, is supported by ScreenSkills using National Lottery funds awarded by the BFI as part of the Future Film Skills programme.

Following a successful introductory weekend giving prospective candidates a taste of life in the locations department, applications are now invited for the final stage. Eight places will be offered to participate in a 3-week locations training course that includes one-to-one support to help gain future employment and / or work experience in the industry.

Training will take place at NFTS in Beaconsfield starting no earlier than 20th January.

*In the UK a military veteran is defined as anyone who has drawn one day's pay from the Armed Forces.
